I had the MOST amazing experience during the night. And I have felt totally different about my job ever since. Work has been, well, challenging of late. 55+ hours weeks and no days off (including Sat/Sun for the past seven weeks). So sometime during the night (I didn’t look at the clock) and (I know this was a God thing), I literally heard, “Everything done in love will lead to success and happiness.” I kid you not. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. My work circumstances haven’t changed one bit. They are actually going to get worse. But after “hearing” that in my soul, I know that I’m going to be better than good…I’m going to be great! I want to thank Richard Rogers for an amazing sermon last Wednesday night at Unity of Phoenix. It changed my life. PS…I needed to work this weekend. And I have NOT turned on my laptop. Not even once. Now…THAT’S a victory!

Oh, how each and every one of you have touched my soul!! Whether you realized it or not, you have had a significant part in expanding my soul and opening my heart to see things in a way I never dreamt possible.

When I moved to Arizona many years ago I thought at the time it was for my career and maybe at first it was, at least on the surface. However, through all the twists and turns in the wonderful kaleidoscope of life each of you started to appear in my life. My soul was on a journey and each of you were meant to be a part of it.

Rev. Richard, you were the first…at Unity of Phoenix which was then at 15 Ave. and Northern. It was the first time I was exposed to Unity’s principles and it spoke to my soul in a way I had never experienced before. The teachings of Unity and your wonderful talks on Sunday and your many classes answered so many questions about religion and spiritual beliefs I had as I was growing up. It was like someone finally turned on a light bulb and my light was now lit up for the first time in a long time. You helped me to look within to what really spoke to me at a soul level and to help me discover my own unique spirituality. You continue to be my favorite minister with your deep spiritual insights!

I really appreciated and admire the humor, style, compassion, intuition, presence, depth of understanding, and love that you shared with our prayer chaplain group on Saturday. We were honored. And we learned.

And I very much loved your message on Sunday. One day when you have nothing to do (hahaha) you could listen to the message I gave one Sunday that I titled ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’. It was about blocks to answered prayer and I talked about the stories we have about ourselves. So it felt pretty good that at least an inkling of your message came out of my mouth too at one time!

We did not make it to your workshop yesterday afternoon as we were finalizing our to do list for a fundraiser golf tournament Howard and I coordinate that is tomorrow. I trust you had a smooth flight home and all is well.
